PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit good shielding effect over the long term by protecting an electromagnetic shielding layer against damage incident to collision against wires, and preventing deterioration in anti-magnetism characteristics and thermal degradation of the electromagnetic wave shielding layer incident to heat generation of wires. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic shielding material 1 includes a sheath 3 having an electromagnetic wave shield layer covering wires 2. A plurality of spacers 15 abutting against the wires 2 that form a clearance 17 between the sheath 3 and the wires 2 are provided on the inner surface of the sheath 3 while spaced apart from each other.
