PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress worsening of an ink ejection characteristic and defective ejection, and also to save power. SOLUTION: An inkjet head has both a plurality of pressure chambers corresponding to nozzles which eject ink droplets, and an actuator unit 21 which gives an ink ejection energy to the ink in each pressure chamber. The actuator unit 21 includes a piezoelectric sheet 141 held between a discrete electrode 135 corresponding to each pressure chamber and a common electrode 134. A driver IC 52 includes both a pulse output part 57b which selectively outputs to each discrete electrode 135 an ejection waveform that includes a pulse to make the ink droplets ejected from the nozzles, and a non-ejection flushing waveform that includes a pulse not to make the ink droplets ejected; and a pulse adjusting circuit 58 which adjusts the pulse so that a rise time and a fall time of the non-ejection flushing waveform become shorter than those of the ejection waveform.
