PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device for a foamed synthetic resin which can be portably carried and is excellent in cutting capacity. SOLUTION: The cutting device for the foamed synthetic resin is equipped with a means which has a heater wire 46 elevating by the drive of a motor 4 while maintaining tension and a parallel state and controls the motor 4, and a means for controlling the heating of the heater 46.
