<p>An apparatus and a method for treating wastewater are provided to maximize the efficiency in treatment of the wastewater, by using a multi-frequency generator for reacting hydrated electrons directly with pollutants contained in the wastewater. An active electron generator(120) includes pin-shaped electrodes, which emit electrons and radicals through appliance of high-voltage high-frequency pulse power. A hydrated electron generator(110) has a plurality of pins and a plurality of plates attached to the pins. The hydrated electron generator discharges and activates electrons, ions, and radicals of high-voltage high-frequency pulse type. A reactor(130) has a circulating pump and a circulating pipe, which bubbles the ions, the electrons, and the radicals generated from the active electron generator and the hydrated electron generator. A T-shaped venturi pipe is connected between the active electron generator and a diffuser in which wastewater is circulated. The T-shaped venturi pipe inputs the electrons and the radicals generated from the active electron generator into the diffuser. A multi-frequency generator(140) is buried in the wastewater of the reactor to generate multi-frequency for promoting oxidation and reduction reactions of the hydrated electrons and radicals with respect to pollutants contained in the wastewater. The hydrated electron generator is made of aurum or copper.</p> |
