THE EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT REINFORCEMENT METHOD FOR PREEXISTENCE BRIDGES

An earthquake resistant reinforcement method of the existing bridge is provided to resist the vertical load of an upper structure using all of the existing bearing without replacing the existing bearing of a bridge with an earthquake resistant bearing, to resist the horizontal force caused by an earthquake with the frictional force of a bearing and to satisfy displacement at ordinary times and earthquake. An earthquake resistant reinforcement method of the existing bridge comprises the steps of: removing the coating of a welding part by grinding and leveling a concrete joint for joining a movement securing plate of a pot bearing(1) attached to an upper structure of a bridge to an upper structure; installing a chemical anchor to the upper structure; and fixing a movement securing plate to the chemical anchor installed on the upper structure by fastening with a nut, injecting epoxy to the top of the movement securing plate to unify with the upper structure, leveling up with an upper plate(10) of the pot bearing and painting to prevent the corrosion of a welding part and a grinding part.
