摘要 <p>A high-speed path optimization method in a proxy mobile IP(Internet Protocol) is provided to deliver handover context information of a mobile terminal to neighboring new candidate ARs(Access Routers) by sensing movement of the terminal, and to previously conduct a high-speed path optimization update process, thereby reducing a cost for signaling. A previous AR(Access Routers)(310) sensing a downlink signal attempt of a mobile terminal transmits a high-speed path optimization attempt request message to an anchor router(350), and the anchor router(350) transmits the message to an anchor router(420) of a correspondent node network(400). The previous AR(310) sensing downlink signal disconnection of the terminal transmits a handover context message to neighboring new candidate ARs(320,330). The new ARs(320,330) transmit high-speed path optimization update request messages to a correspondent node AR(410), and receive high-speed path optimization update responses. After the terminal performs handover to a new AR, the terminal transmits a high-speed path optimization update complete message to the correspondent node AR(410). The complete message is transmitted to the anchor router(420). The anchor router(420) transmits the complete message to the anchor router(350), receives a complete response message, and sends the message to the correspondent node AR(410) again.</p>
