A homopolar generator is provided to enhance accuracy of synchronous drive by applying electromotive force through rotation conductive members and a conductive belt. A homopolar generator includes positive and negative excitation coils(4,4a), a metal member(5), a pair of copper wheels(7,7a), and a shaft insertion extruding member(7b). The positive and negative excitation coils are formed at both sides of a copper bar(3) insulated from a driving shaft(2) of a motor(1) and wound around the metal member, which is disposed in an outer portion of the copper bar. The pair of copper wheels are connected to the copper bar and a conductive belt(6), coupled to both sides of a transmission shaft(8), which is formed in parallel with the driving shaft, and contacted with positive and negative brushes(9,9a). The shaft insertion extruding member, which is inserted into the transmission shaft, is insulated from the transmission shaft.
