PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of abnormal noise and a short lifetime of a rolling bearing caused by an impression formed on an inner and an outer ring of the rolling bearing constituting a hub unit. SOLUTION: In the rolling bearing constituting the hub unit 1, four balls 14b formed of ceramic materials harder than bearing steel are added to balls 14a formed of the bearing steel between the inner ring 7 and the outer ring 8 formed of the bearing steel, a bulge part 25 formed on the circumference edge of the impression 24 formed on each raceway surface 11, 12 of the inner and the outer rings 7, 8 by a shock load F in a radial direction or biting foreign matters 56 is eliminated by being pressed by the balls 14b formed of the ceramic materials (partially stabilized zirconia).
