PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve steering stability while securing good riding comfort and fatigue resistance. SOLUTION: A steel cord 10 has multiple twisted metallic filaments f of the same diameter. In the steel cord 10, the diameter d of the metallic filament f is 0.05-0.10 mm, the flexural rigidity per cord is 3 g or less, and the tensile strength of the steel cord is 165 N or higher.
