PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material cutting device capable of preventing the interference between an edge part and base materials. SOLUTION: The sheet material cutting device 30 cutting a sheet material 3 set over a pair of adjacent base materials 2 between the pair of adjacent base materials 2 is provided with the edge part 74 travelling in a prescribed cutting direction relative to the sheet material 3 to cut the sheet material 3, and a contact part 75 having a first contact part contacted with one of the opposed ends of the pair of the base materials 2 and a second contact part contacted with the other end and travelling in the cutting direction along with the edge part 74 in a contacting condition relative to the base materials 2.
