METALLIC WIRE WITH REDUCED WEAR AGAINST JEWEL OR JEWELRY ORNAMENTAL MATERIAL, AND PERSONAL ORNAMENT AND ACCESSORY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate problem of dark stains around a through hole on a jewel or on the surface layer of a jewelry ornamental material by reducing wear of a metallic wire caused by rubbing with the jewel or the jewelry ornamental material when the metallic wire is used. SOLUTION: The surface layer of the metallic wire is fully given electrolytic polishing, chemical polishing, or the like in a pre-processing and then subjected to hard precious metal plating having superior adhesibility. As a result, wear of the metallic wire is reduced which is caused by rubbing with the jewel or the jewelry ornamental material, making it possible to eliminate the problem of dark stains around the through hole on the jewel or on the surface layer of the jewelry ornamental material.
