<p>A method and system are provided by which all supplementary services are made available when telephoning over the Internet using an appropriate data terminal. An intermediate station (e.g., gateway) is provided with a services distributor that serves as a unit for differentiating services control data to be carried out locally and services control data to be passed farther along the signaling segment. The services distributor makes use of a code by which each service is assigned to a specific station.</p> |
