METHOD, SERVER AND SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING MESSAGE FOR USE IN ON-LINE SERVICE AND TERMINAL THEREFOR

A method, a server and a system for processing a message in an online service and a terminal therefor are provided to prevent communication resources of a wired/wireless communication network from being wasted, to reduce load on the server and to reduce a communication cost of an online service subscriber. A system for processing a message in an online service comprises an online service server(130) and a service management terminal(140). The online service server(130) receives a request for setting up a criterion value and a maximum value, sets up the criterion value and the maximum value, and requests a service terminal(110) to set up the criterion value and the maximum value. If receiving a message for the online service and a message index processed on the basis of the criterion value and the maximum value, the online service server(130) checks whether the message is a general message, whether the criterion value is less than the maximum value, and whether the message index is more than the criterion value. The online service server(130) deletes the message according to the checking results. The service management terminal(140) requests the online service server to set up the criterion value and the maximum value while transmitting the criterion value and the maximum value to the online service server.
