<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily distinguish a repeatedly formed image, regarding an image forming apparatus where an image in a prescribed section is repeatedly formed when an image forming operation is stopped in the middle of a job for forming images on a continuous paper. <P>SOLUTION: The images are formed by an image output part 6 based on image data on the continuous paper sectioned at equal intervals by perforations vertical to a conveying direction. When the formed image reaches a storage device 300, the page is specified. A prescribed-shaped image is formed by the image output part 6 in a prescribed position across the perforations of the continuous paper with the image formed. When the image forming operation based on a series of image data is stopped halfway, the image on the page following the page that reaches the storage device 300 is formed.
