<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas cleaning apparatus capable of using oxygen in a gas phase as an oxidant, sufficiently oxidizing components like PM, HC, CO or NO in a further lower temperature region, and sufficiently regenerating the apparatus by regeneration processing at a relatively low temperature even if PM has accumulated. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust gas cleaning apparatus is provided with a coagulant comprising silver particles serving as cores, and ceria fine particles with an average primary particle size of 1-100 nm, covering the periphery of the silver particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
