<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive projector that is conveniently used by allowing the size of an image projected onto a screen to be varied without direct operation of parts near a projection lens. <P>SOLUTION: The projector 1 includes: a projection lens 18 to project an image onto a screen; a zoom ring 19 to change a magnification rate of the projection lens 18; a wheel 32 disposed as exposing through the lower face of a housing 2; and a transmission mechanism 31 having a plurality of gears 310, 311, 312 and interlocking with the wheel 32 and the zoom ring 19. When the projector 1 is moved in a direction toward and backward the screen while the wheel 32 and the zoom ring 19 are interlocked and rotated through the transmission mechanism 31, the wheel 32 is rotated as well as the zoom ring 19 is rotated by interlocking. Thereby, the size of an image projected onto the screen is varied without direct rotation operation of the zoom ring 19 by a user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
