<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight device which uses a dielectric barrier discharge type flat fluorescent lamp having structure with which a lead wire is certainly connected to an external electrode of the flat fluorescent lamp, with simple construction. <P>SOLUTION: In the backlight devices 1, 1a, 1b, the external electrode 3 and a feeder member 5 of the flat fluorescent lamp 4, 4a are abutted on each other and fixed with pressing force from electrode pressing members 6, 6a, 6b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
