<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having a novel function capable of improving game properties while a conventional action method in the field of a battle grapple game is maintained. <P>SOLUTION: A screen display means 101 displays a game screen on a display 201. A character control means 105 controls an action of a character displayed on the game screen. A first action means 103 shifts the character to any course from a player's lever action. A second action means 107 makes the character an attack from player's button press. An attack control means 111 changes a character's attack manner to "a grapple attack".
