PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of codes for a data signal and to increase a communication traffic volume in code diffusion in a MIMO technology.

SOLUTION: A base station 1 transmits data signals from transmitting antennas T1 and T2 in one and the same carrier frequency at one and the same time, and transmits a pilot signal while alternatively switching the transmitting antennas T1 and T2 so as not to overlap the pilot signals between the plurality of antennas in a time or frequency manner. A mobile station 2 separates the pilot signal from the signal received by receiving antennas R1 and R2 of the mobile station 2 side, and uses the separated pilot signal to estimate channel information of a propagation path between the base station 1 and the mobile station 2.
