PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery residual amount warning circuit of reduced electric power consumption, capable of issuing a battery residual amount alarm after electricity of a battery is consumed sufficiently, and capable of issuing the alarm in timing most suitable for various kinds of batteries. SOLUTION: An A/D converter 12 measures a voltage value of the battery 4 all the time, and imparts a pulse signal to a pseudo-load circuit 6 by an A/D converter 10 when the voltage value of the battery 4 goes down to a specified level by consuming the battery 4, the voltage value of the battery 4 is measured when imparted, and a voltage drop of the battery 4 is detected by the A/D converter 12.
