PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control oil pressure efficiently by using a simple model. SOLUTION: In this method for generating a clutch oil pressure command value of an automatic transmission, a physically detailed model of an oil pressure system is prepared to decide a required frequency based on a design demand (S1 to S3), a frequency response characteristic of each model of the simple model of each degree and the degree of the simple model to be used are decided from the required frequency (S4), a coefficient concerning the simple model of the decided degree is decided, and a clutch oil pressure command value is calculated (S5 to S6).
