PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-made pulley which is fully practicable as an alternative of a metal-made pulley, because the resin-made pulley is excellent in dimensional stability and strength, and both thermal shock resistance and abrasion resistance property, which are mutually contradictory characteristics, can be improved using a novolac phenolic resin as a base resin without the need for refrigeration storage owing to no self reaction. SOLUTION: The resin-made pulley contains the novolac phenolic resin, silica, and alumina of average particle diameter of 5μm or greater. The resin composition which keep a containt ratio of the alumina by 5 to 20 weight% is molded, and the novolac phenolic resin is formed by hardening. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
