PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter apparatus, easily and automatically opening an opening/closing body in a simple structure. SOLUTION: This shutter apparatus, which is adapted to slide the opening and closing body 10 along a guide rail 20 to thereby perform the opening and closing operation, includes: an energizing means 34 for energizing the opening and closing body 10 to automatically open; and an engaging and disengaging means 40 locking the opening and closing body 10 not to be opened in a predetermined closing position and releasing the locking state.
