摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor having sufficiently high emission luminance when a CRT (cathode-ray tube), an FED (field emission display), etc., are irradiated with electron rays. SOLUTION: The phosphor is represented by general formula (1) (Lna<SB>(1-x-y)</SB>Lnb<SB>x</SB>Re<SB>y</SB>)<SB>2</SB>SiO<SB>5</SB>(1) (wherein, Lna represents at least one kind of element selected from the group consisting of Y, La, Gd and Lu; Lnb represents at least one kind of element selected from the group except those selected from Y, La, Gd and Lu in Lna; Re represents at least one kind of element selected from the group consisting of lanthanide elements except La, Gd and Lu; and x and y represent each a numerical value satisfying conditions of 0≤x≤0.2 and 0.001≤y≤0.1).
