<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte electrochemical device with energy reduced such as consumption power needed for heating with the use of a compact heat exchanger which can be manufactured in a simple method and quality control. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with an electrochemical element 16 with a cathode electrode 14 and an anode electrode 15 formed on either side of an ion-conductive solid electrolyte 13, a heating body 17 heating the above, and a heat exchanger 23. The heat exchanger 23 is arranged in an inner space of a cathode-side space 19 or an adjacent space and is a structure forming bent flow channels 29, 30 to the cathode-side space 19 by laminating heat-exchanging plates 26 as main constituent members with fluid passage gaps 24, 25. As the compact heat exchanger is used that can be manufactured in a simple process and quality control, the device is compact with a small volume, with reduction of power consumption aimed at of the heating element 17 heating the electrochemical element 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
