Explicit constrained depth extrapolation operators are constructed with variable operator lengths depending on maximum phase angles, accuracy condition, anisotropy parameters, and wavenumber. Operator tables are constructed using the explicit depth extrapolation operator having the smallest operator length satisfying the accuracy condition at the maximum phase angles for each of a plurality of anisotropy parameters and a plurality of wavenumbers. Depth migration is performed using the explicit constrained depth extrapolation operator at a depth having the smallest operator length from the operator tables for the wavenumber. |
