<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chalcopyrite solar cell having a small amount of dead space and improved power generation efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In the chalcopyrite solar cell, a unit cell comprises a lower electrode layer (Mo electrode layer) 2 formed at the upper portion of a substrate 1, a light absorption layer (CIGS light absorption layer) 3 containing copper, indium, gallium, and selenium, a high-resistance buffer layer thin film 4 formed on the light absorption layer thin film by InS, ZnS, CdS, or the like, and an upper electrode thin film (TCO) 5 formed by ZnOAl, or the like. Further, for connecting that unit cell, a contact electrode for connecting the upper and lower electrodes is formed partially so that it is adjacent to a parting line formed element separation scribing (third scribing). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
