PLASMA TREATMENT METHOD, ANTIREFLECTION FILM, POLARIZING PLATE, AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma treatment method by which stable surface modification and thin-film formation on a surface can be performed while avoiding damage to polymer resin film materials due to plasma treatment performed for the polymer resin film materials and to provide an antireflection film, a polarizing plate, and an image display device produced with the use of the plasma treatment method.

SOLUTION: The plasma treatment method comprises modifying by plasma treatment the resin film surface that is continuously conveyed while being held by a holding means, wherein a temperature difference between the surface temperature of the resin film and the rear-surface temperature of the resin film is controlled when plasma treatment is performed for the resin film surface.
