<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorization apparatus adsorbing and deodorizing malodor of malodorous chemical substances by a simple substance of moisture-containing bamboo powder without thermolysis in a room temperature condition, discharging no environmental pollution gas such as carbon dioxide, NOx and SOx. <P>SOLUTION: This deodorization apparatus is provided with a cylindrical cell 18 packed with a deodorizing agent consisting of bamboo powder with an average particle size of 2 mm or less, a residue on 5 mm sieve of 10% or less, and a moisture content of 1-30 wt.%. A malodorous substance is introduced into the apparatus from a suction port thereof at a flow speed of 0.5-10 cm/s, and is forcedly discharged from a discharge port via the deodorizing agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
