<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump always having sufficient sealing performance. <P>SOLUTION: This pump comprises a motor, an impeller secured to the rotating shaft of the motor, a casing 3 having an impeller chamber in which an impeller is stored, a discharge passage allowing water from the impeller chamber to flow therein, and a feedout tank part for receiving the water flowing from the impeller chamber, and a casing cover having a water tank part for storing a priming for feeding a part of the water flowing out into a water/steam separating chamber and the impeller chamber by its communication with the feedout tank part. The pump further comprises a hard plate-like partition plate 6 fitted into the casing 3, having an opening for water flow (flow hole 6a) formed at a predetermined position and having a cut and erected part 6e formed by cutting and erecting a part of the flow hole 6a and a sheet-like elastic packing 9 fitted onto the partition plate 6. The cut and erected part 6e is brought into contact with the inner periphery of the outer peripheral seal part 9b of the opening peripheral edge part of a packing flow hole 9a formed in the packing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
