<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lacrimal passage treatment instrument for supporting treatment so that a tube is correctly inserted into the lacrimal passage by solving an issue that, a bougie is inserted into the lacrimal passage by pushing a dacryostenosis part to secure the lacrimal passage when a doctor treats dacryostenosis, sometimes the bougie breaks through a wall face of the lacrimal passage and advances as it is to reach into the lacrimal passage again, and thereby a temporary passage is formed and then the bougie is drawn out and a tube is inserted into the lacrimal passage using a stilette, at that time the tube is sometimes inserted into the temporary passage and, when the stilette is drawn out, the tube is kept as being inserted into the temporary passage. <P>SOLUTION: The lacrimal passage treatment instrument comprises a sheath which is composed of a self-standable, bendable, and flexible cylindrical body with an outer diameter capable of being inserted into the lacrimal passage and has opening parts on both end parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
