PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower made highly efficient through improvement of straightening effect and improving suction force giving basic performance of the electric blower. SOLUTION: The electric blower comprises an impeller, an air guide straightening a blowout wind from the impeller, a casing 23 provided with a plurality of blowout holes 26 in a cylindrical surface of its outer peripheral side and covering the impeller and the air guide and a straightening ring 30 having straightening ring holes (ring holes) 31 opposed to the blowout holes 26 and covering the outer peripheral side of the casing 23, wherein outer peripheral side edges of the straightening ring holes 31 formed in the straightening ring 30 are formed in an R shape. With this arrangement, blowout winds from the straightening ring holes 31 gently spread and are therefore diffused all around not to cause Karman vortexes, the efficiency is prevented from lowering due to a turbulent flow caused by the vortexes and the like, turbulence of air flow is reduced and the efficient electric blower can be provided.
