摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the worsening of exhaust emission and fuel economy by suitably combining an increase of OTP and an increase of power. SOLUTION: An electronic control unit (ECU) 30 controls a fuel injection amount for an engine 1 with an injector 7 depending on the operated condition of the engine 1, increases OTP to increase the fuel injection amount for preventing the overheat of an exhaust passage 3 and a catalyst converter 11 when the engine 1 is in a high-load and high-rotation operated condition, and increases power to increase the fuel injection amount for setting an air-fuel ratio to be an output air-fuel ratio when the engine 1 is in a high-load operated condition. Herein, when the engine 1 is in the high-load and high-rotation operated condition, the ECU 30 increases the power and increases the OTP with a delay of a time corresponding to at least the increase of the power after starting the increase of the power.
