To easily locate each of control cables in specified positions in a device to facilitate assembling of the device by using gears stacked in at least three stages to downsize the device even if individual control cables are paid out at different speeds. A sun shade operating device (100) comprising a drive unit (M), at least one shaft (1) to which rotary torque generated from the drive unit (M) is directly or indirectly transmitted, a plurality of gears (2) rotating on the one shaft (1) integrally with it, a plurality of control cables (41, 42, 43) meshing with the gears (2) and moved longitudinally by the rotary motions of the gears (2), and a casing housing the one end of the shaft (1) and the plurality of gears (2) and allowing the plurality of control cables to pass through the inside thereof. Furthermore, the casing allows a member (32), formed with a space through which to pass axial-direction-adjacent control cables, to be sandwiched between a pair of holding member (31, 33). |
