A method for forming key values of a keypad is provided to remove inconvenience generated when a user changes a mobile terminal having a different character input mode by each mobile terminal maker. A space storing a plurality of numeric key values of the keypad is provided to a numeric key value forming method. The space storing a plurality of Hangul key values of the keypad is provided to a Hangul key value forming method. The space storing a plurality of function button key values of the keypad is provided to a function button key value forming method. The space storing a plurality of alphabetic key values of the keypad is provided to an alphabetic key value forming method.
