A hydrodynamic torque converter is provided to occupy the least amount of space and reduce fuel consumption. A pump wheel(16) has plural pump wheel vanes arranged in a row in a circumferential direction around a rotation axis(A). A turbine wheel(22) is rotated relative to the pump wheel around the rotation axis, and has plural turbine wheel vanes arranged in a row in the circumferential direction around the rotation axis. A stator(34) has plural stator vanes arranged in a row in the circumferential direction around the rotation axis. An outer diameter of a hydrodynamic circuit is in a range of 220-290mm.
