<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder supply device which requires little replacement work, increases powder capacity, adjusts a minute powder supply amount, eliminates the scattering of the powder, and efficiently and surely transports the powder to a destination, without giving damage to powder, and also to provide an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: The powder supply device has: a powder receiving section 31 for receiving the powder in it and having at its bottom a gas ejection section for ejecting gas toward the inside of the powder ejection sections 33A, 33B, 33C1 to 33C4; and transportation means 37, 40, and 50 for sucking the powder T received in the powder receiving section 31 and transporting the powder toward the destination.
