<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater muscular strength training machine in which a load adjustment is easily performed by adjusting the air in a float, and adjustment of the position of the float is easy. <P>SOLUTION: The underwater muscular strength training machine comprises a supporting frame (4) placed in a pool (3), a fixing tool (6) for fixing the supporting frame (4) to a pool edge (5), a lifting frame liftably attached to the supporting frame (4), a float (2) which is attached to the lifting frame (7) and floats on the water surface, and a foot pressing plate (8) attached to the lifting frame (7). When a patient supported by the supporting frame (4) pushes the foot pressing plate (8) and the float (2) downward, the buoyancy of the float causes a load for stretching action of the lower leg. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
