<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of correctly correcting the write-starting positional deviation in a main scanning direction of a recording medium, irrespective of the recording medium so that every recording medium can be adequately binary digitized. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming device, an analog image signal output from a tightly fitted image sensor 1 in which a plurality of pixel photoelectric conversion elements are arranged orthogonal to a recording medium conveying path is binary digitized by a comparator 2; a recording medium end detection circuit 3 detects an end of the recording medium by using the binary data; a TH voltage calculation circuit acquires the output level of the recording medium to be used together with the output level of a standard recording medium to obtain the ratio; the threshold voltage of the comparator 2 in the recording medium to be used is calculated; and a CIS control circuit 5 gives the threshold voltage of the calculated value to the comparator 2 via a TH adjustment circuit 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
