<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize connection sound in high quality without producing sound production delay of rear sound. <P>SOLUTION: A musical sound synthesizer can set any one of a pronunciation priority mode or a quality priority mode, synthesizes musical sound by using waveform data of a stored head part and waveform data of a tail part in the sound production priority mode when producing the connection sound connecting a part between two before and behind sounds; and separately synthesizes the musical sound of a down section of a timely advancing front sound out of the two before and behind sounds based on the waveform data of the tail part while processing the musical sound of a rise section of the timely subsequently connecting rear sound out of the two before and behind sounds based on the waveform data of the head part and waveforms respectively. Thus, the musical sound synthesizer produces no sound production delay of the rear sound on a hearing sense for taking no time of a transition time or the like of calculation for connecting the rear sound to the front sound or sound height of the front sound to the rear sound as compared with a case of using the waveform data of a connection part, and synthesizes the connection sound in high quality even when separately synthesizing the front sound and the rear sound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
