PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely fix a fine adjustment of diffracting grating. SOLUTION: In an optical pickup, an erected frame 4 is integrally formed with a slide base which can reciprocate along the radial direction of disk; a grating aperture 6 is formed in a reference end face of this erected frame 4; the diffraction grating GRT which forms a concave groove 11 in a circumference surface along the axial center direction O1 is arranged in the grating aperture 6; a laser source is arranged opposite the diffraction grating GRT; a manipulation hole 13 which penetrates the erected frame 4 and communicates to the grating aperture 6 is formed; and an inside face 13c of this manipulation hole 13 is formed outward in a taper shape which is aslope at predetermined angleβ. A UV curable adhesive 16 in the manipulation hole 13 is cured by applying a UV curable adhesive 16 in the manipulation hole 13, and irradiating the manipulation hole 13 with Ultraviolet by a UV irradiation means 17 with a certain distance apart from this manipulation hole 13, after finely adjusting the position of this diffraction grating GRT around the axis O1 of the diffraction grating GRT.
