PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain integrity of records without performing a rollback when transaction is stopped by interruption. SOLUTION: During execution of the transaction including updating process on a plurality of records in a database having a rollback function, if interruption such as hardware interruption caused by operation to a user interface, timer interruption based on setting by a user, and software interruption caused in response to an instruction given from an external device for stopping the transaction is received, a rollback is not carried out but updating process on the records during update is completed, and then, execution of updating process on the following record is stopped.
