PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent deformation by sufficiently supporting a load inputted to a suspension tower at the travelling of a vehicle by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This front body structure of an automobile is provided with the suspension tower 2 to support a front suspension, a dash panel 4 erected above from the front end of the floor panel and to partition a cabin and an engine room from each other, a cowl front panel 5 the rear end of which is mounted to the dash panel 4 and a side front end extended to the front from the mounting part of which is mounted to a rear part of the suspension tower 2 and a brace member 6 mounted by straddling over the dash panel 4, the cowl front panel 5 and an inside part of the suspension tower 2.
