PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus equipped with a ribbon guide which can be utilized in common between print heads with different specifications, has no need of using an expensive heat-resistant resin, and is easily mounted. SOLUTION: The ribbon guide 11 is mounted on a protective cover 10 for a heat dissipating fin covering the heat dissipating fin of the print head. The protective cover 10 for the heat dissipating fin has a structure for engaging and mounting the ribbon guide 11 such as a receiving recessed part 22 on the upper face and an inclined face guide 24. The ribbon guide 11 is equipped with a connecting part 35, both side regulating parts 33 and 34, and guide parts 36 and 37, and the connecting part 35 is equipped with two arms 40 and 41 and an engaging piece 42 engaging with the protective cover 10 for the heat dissipating fin.
