PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving machine that accurately drives a fastener into an aimed place while preventing the clogging of the fastener by suppressing the opening of a guide plate of an injection part. SOLUTION: The driving machine has a driver blade 12, the injection part 20 which is composed of a blade guide 20A and the guide plate 20B provided on the blade guide 20A so as to be openable and closable with respect to the plate, and an injection port 28 for guiding the driver blade 12 and a nail 5 into the injection part 20. The guide plate 20B is provided with a rotatable lock lever 25 and a lock spring 23 rotatably mounted to the lock lever. The blade guide 20A is provided with a hook 22. The lock spring 23 is engaged with an engaging part 22a of the hook 22 so as to lock the closed state of the guide plate 20B by the operation of the lock lever 25. A nearly parallel part is formed at least at a part on a face where the engaging face of the engaging part 22a and the outer end face of the guide plate 20B face each other.
