摘要 A spray coating process and a spray-coating thickness estimation system are provided to determine the contribution to porosity from factors influencing porosities of a coating and each interaction of factors and to control the porosities of the coating formed on the surface of a turbine bucket. A spray coating process for a robot spray gun assembly comprises the steps of: inputting a discretized model of an object to be coated; inputting a file of spray patterns(22) numerically characterized; inputting a robot motion file including orientations defining several motion positions, pause time, and the spray direction of the robot spray gun; reading each motion position in the motion file; deciding a visual part of the object at each motion position; calculating a void volume fraction at each visual part of the object on the basis of core compression, spray incident angle, and ricocheting for each motion position; and calculating the total thickness of the coating on a part of the object for a perfect movement step.
