USE OF COMPOUNDS OBTAINED FROM THE NEEM TREE (AZADIRACHTA INDICA) FOR THE TREATMENT OF HIV/AIDS

A pharmaceutical compound for treating patients suffering with the human immunodeficiency virus is disclosed. This compound comprises an effective quantity of the following elements: compounds obtained from the neem tree (Azadirachta Indica); and a protein supplement. This compound can be produced as follows: by immersing the powder of the neem tree in water, in such a way that the components of the same can be extracted in order to produce an aqueous extract; and by mixing the aqueous extract with a protein supplement to make a drink. A method of treatment for a patient suffering from the human immunodeficiency virus is also disclosed. This method can comprise a step of administering this drink orally to the same patient.
