A TV and a control method thereof are provided to restore a changed setup value of an image automatically to an image setup value prior to the change, thereby providing a user with convenience. An image processing unit(130) processes an image according to a setup value. A display unit(140) displays the processed image. A terminal unit(110) is connected to an external jack. When the external jack is connected to the terminal unit(110) after the setup value of the image is changed, a control unit(120) controls the image processing unit(130) to display the image as the setup value prior to the image is changed.
