FUEL CELL AND FUEL CELL MOUNTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell mounting apparatus capable of suppressing drop in output of a fuel cell and reducing useless consumption of fuel caused by crossover in the stop of power generation.

SOLUTION: The fuel cell contains a first casing 44; an electrode structure of the fuel cell fixed to the inside of the first casing 44; and a second casing 40 combined with the first casing 44 so as to be capable of displacing relative to the first casing 44 and equipped with a mechanism for controlling simultaneously the supply of fuel and that of oxygen to the electrode structure in the first casing 44 by the displacement relative to the first casing 44.
