<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating a double metal cyanide (DMC) catalyst, which enables the high ratio of a starting compound measured and supplied by a method for continuously measuring and supplying the starter compound to an alkylene oxide, and enables to easily obtain a polyether polyol having an OH value exceeding 200 mg KOH/g. <P>SOLUTION: This method for conditioning the DMC catalyst comprises dispersing the DMC catalyst in a starting solvent containing an addition product of an alkylene oxide to the starter compound having an OH value of about 5 to 500 mgKOH/g and a Zerewitinoff active hydrogen atom, under a pressure of about 1 mbar to about 10 bar at a temperature of about 0°C to about 80°C for about 5 minutes to about 4 hours. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
